The lake that we fish regularly in Vilas County Wisconsin has the potential for large fish. This particular lake has a keeper size limit of 40 inches. Due to the potential of catching large Muskies from this lake, there is much boat traffic with many fishermen throwing many of the same baits. I feel that after a period of time the Lunge grows accustom to seeing the same baits thrown at them day in and day out. As a result, I try to to throw them something a little different. I designed these squid headed baits in a different array of colors with blades of different sizes and shapes to give them something a little different to look at. I'm particular to the french blades because they ride higher in the water column, above the weedbeds that we are fishing. This 38 incher was caught on a black bodied bait with silver specs on a bluebird day.
